My favorite thing about Nubian Roc has always been the people — the community that continues to grow around a simple dream that started with shea butter. While I love formulating, mixing, and creating new products, what truly fills my heart are the people behind the journey — the women in Ghana who handcraft our unrefined shea butter, the soap makers who stir and sing around the black soap fires, the families who harvest and dry our cocoa and moringa, and our beautiful customers here in South Africa who have trusted us to bring nature back into their homes. They are the heartbeat of Nubian Roc.

Nubian Roc started as a spark — one woman’s desire to reconnect with her roots and to share the beauty secrets passed down through generations. I began with three products, selling door-to-door and on Facebook, not knowing that this humble beginning would blossom into a brand that has reached thousands of homes and inspired many others to build their own.

Looking back, I think of my dad — a man with endless ideas and unstoppable determination. I remember us selling chickens, bananas, spinach… anything he could think of to support his five children. Those moments taught me the true meaning of resilience, creativity, and faith. Today, I carry those lessons with me in Nubian Roc — using the same hands, the same heart, to create opportunities, empower women across borders, and bring healing through natural wellness.”
