Nubian Roc is a manufacturer of natural beauty products using ingredients like shea butter, african black soap, coconut oil and cocoa butter imported from ghana to south africa. The main natural beauty products we produce are unrefined ivory and yellow shea butter, african black soap, extra virgin coconut oil, chebe powder, moringa powder, cocoa butter, therapeutic oils and beauty accessories.

Inspired by the ancient Adinkra symbol “Sankofa” – “Go Back And Take It” Nubian Roc`s journey began with a return to basics. We discovered the potent beauty of african black soap, coconut oil and shea butter, timeless ingredients passed down through generations.

Founder/ Creative Director

Akua Ngwenya

Akua is an Oracle certified consultant (OCP) General Ledger & Accounts Payable. Project management, oracle implementation, system support. Has 22yrs of public/ private sector experience, top sales person 3yrs in a row on her side hustles until eventually founding Nubian Roc in 2015. Which led to her retirement from the corporate world to be full time in Nubian Roc, since 2022.
